Out Of This World…Or Human?

I don’t know how many times we had driven by this alley but one day my hubby glanced down the little dirt road behind the Dairy Queen and excitedly rushed home and told me to grab my camera. I had no idea where he was taking me or why, low and behold I saw what he was so excited about!
Now, you tell me if these are “Out of this World” ???
Area 49.2339 is actually the Longitude of Port Alberni, I thought I’d give it a bit of mystery.
It didn’t take long after I posted these photos on a local site to find out what these alien ships were, it turns out they are/were experimental wind or water turbines. Neat stuff!

They do look out of this world. I have always wanted to make a home, out of one of the big city water tower/tanks. I think that would be so neat, of course it sounds strange coming from a person afraid of heights.
I have always wanted a monolithic dome home also.
